Spring planting time was slightly interrupted by a frosty morning once or twice. The evil goats broke into the veggie garden and ate the tops off the new tomato plants. Then we got more frost. Then we got irrigation water. THEN I noticed that the "dead" tomato plants were still alive and showing new sprouts. So I hope to have lots of tomatoes this year. Chiles are planted as well, 16 plants!
The cherry tree I showed you in bloom last month was hit by frost the next day. I don't think any of the blossoms survived; we may not see any fruit on that tree this year. But the others were luckier, so here's a shot of some baby cherries.
Other things are blooming too.

Spotted Towhee:
Here's one of the Edgars. They zoom around so fast it's hard to get a photo of more than one. But there are many. They can drain the feeder in less than a day.
The irrigation water has been plentiful this year because of the above-average snowfall in the mountains to the north of us in Colorado where the Rio Grande originates. The dogs don't mind too much because the mud is nice and cool.
A Big (Future) Moth:
This might beat Kelbi in the Biggest Moth Contest. We'll see how it develops.
